Minimising negative socioeconomic impacts and safeguarding public health.
What is Responsible Gambling?
Responsible Gambling refers to the set of policies, practices, and programs designed to prevent gambling-related harm and to support individuals who experience problems despite preventative efforts. Under Rwanda’s Gambling Policy (Pillar 1: Negative Socioeconomic Impact Minimisation), the NLGC is mandated to lead and coordinate these efforts across all licensed operators.
